If you are looking for a stress-busting physical effort, a thrill of danger and spending time in the lap of nature, mountain biking is for you. You'll be riding over impassable roots, rocks, mind-bending spots and inclines. The occasional bumps on roads will test your skills, physical fitness and perseverance, and you'll be a tougher person after completing the ride.
Carbon Monkey offers regular trail rider improver courses for improving your bike-handling skills on different types of trails. These courses have been designed keeping in view the needs of different riders. The course includes cornering, line choice, body position, and slow speed skills. Every single course will teach you the skills that you require as a biker. Our courses are not set on a rigid prescriptive format. This will boost your confidence and the ability to ride on a trail successfully. You'll learn everything from technical skills, navigation, kit selection, packing to route election.
You'll also learn everything from jumps and drops to a multi-day expedition. Our MTB skills courses ensure real improvement.
You'll enjoy riding on the most dramatic mountainous landscapes of Snowdonia, Lake District, Peak District and Scotland.
Mountain bilking is not a profession for Carbon Monkey; we are passionate about it. We are a specialised MTB skills course provider in the area of North Wales, Scotland and Snowdonia. Carbon Monkey believes in offering the course with passion, enthusiasm and energy. Carbon Monkey instructors are counted among the best MTB instructors who boast of British Cycling Level 2 Coaching Certification and National Standards Instructors Training. If you're looking for an MTB instructor to hone your motor biking skills, come and join us at Carbon Monkey.
To participate in the course, you need a bike in a good working condition, a helmet, suitable clothing, a packed lunch and the curiosity to learn. Here, it is to be noted that it's a skill development course and not a big mountain-riding guide. You should be fully fit to ride any UK Blue-graded trail centre.
