When to go
April to November
Imagine yourself amid the wilderness of forests, magnificent remote black mountains and secluded valleys in Wales while being firmly saddled on a horseback. Come with your friends in a group to enjoy the rugged sceneries, relaxing at different overnight stops each day on carefully selected routes. The joy will enhance manifold while riding on well-schooled, purebred Welsh and Irish cobs that are famous for their sense of balance on rough terrains.
The horses will effortlessly lead you up to 2,000 feet along high ridges, quiet forests and ancient oak woods.
You can stop for either a picnic in the woods or can have lunch at a remote pub; you can also relax a bit at a country inn or a friendly Welsh farmhouse. Riding all day and staying at a comfortable accommodation along the route each night is wonderfully rewarding and you will have the real satisfaction of achievement.
