When to go
May to October
This adventure takes place on a chartered boat off the beautiful Scottish South West coastline. If you’re looking for a world class sea fishing experience, then a day out catching big sea predators is an absolute must. Enjoy a beautiful day on the sea, with the adrenaline of reeling in big fish.
On the day you will meet your guide at your fishing boat in a location 3 hours south of Edinburgh (option for a lift from Edinburgh or Glasgow or Prestwick airport is available). This corner of Scotland offers some of the best sea fishing in Europe and your boat will allow you to access the best spots. You'll learn to fly fish or spin with lures and jig heads. The action is fast and furious! The scenery breathtaking.
After some 6 hours of intense fishing you'll journey back to the harbour, with no doubt some epic tales to share in the pub that night!
All in all this is a fantastic option because it’s very easy to organise and requires minimal kit or fitness. We recommend you first send the guide a booking request. The guide will then contact you to agree the date. Adventure sorted!
Stewart Collingswood is one of Scotland's most experienced fishing guides, with some 40 years experience exploring his beloved Scotland. An Orvis Endorsed Guide, chef and professional photographer, Stewart has many passions, making him a fantastic person to spend time with. All his trips introduce a level of cuisine and customer service which matches Scotland’s imperious landscapes and hard-fighting fish.
Optional extras include additional days spent fishing (ask the guide).
Everything you need will be provided; the best sea fishing tackle, life vests and photos of your experience.
