When to go
All year round
This adventure takes place near Widecombe-in-the-Moor (Devon), a beautiful village nestled snuggly between rolling green hills and spectacular granite tors. If you’re looking for a fun introduction to rock climbing, then a day at the crags in Dartmoor is a great option.
On the day you can expect your guide to meet you at the venue car park at 9.30am. You'll get briefed on kit, then let the adventure begin!
Climbing provides both a great physical and mental challenge, which gives participants a real sense of achievement, as well as a great way to get people outdoors and see some stunning scenery. This makes for a great family day out or way to spend quality time with friends.
All in all this is a fantastic option because it’s very easy to organize and requires minimal kit or fitness. We recommend you first contact the guide to agree a date, then book your accommodation. Adventure sorted!
Keiha is a fantastic all round climbing instructor who lives by Dartmoor National Park, a place he calls his 'outdoor paradise'. Having delivered instruction for schools, indoor climbing centers and a variety of outdoor organizations across the South-West, he's just at home with groups of children and youth organisations as he is with adult groups.
Optional extras include a posh picnic hamper for your group to enjoy (ask the guide for this great add on).
Please note you have to be 18 years or over to book this adventure (unless accompanied by a parent or guardian).
