Coasteering is a properly organised outdoor activity where you claw your way along sea cliffs, learn about them as you go, before plunging into the water and immersing yourself in the waves. You need strong legs to climb littoral rocks.

You will have a wetsuit, helmet, and buoyancy aid with no paddles. You will be able to get up close with the seascape and marine flora.

This is a sport that demands great mettle and ingenuity. Participants need to find little rock openings to climb. You’ll need to come to terms with the unpredictability of the sea—you could be swimming one moment, and suddenly swept aside by a huge wave the next.

This is a physically demanding activity and it is advisable to try out a half-day session to gain some confidence before opting for the full-day or weekly packages.

Client reviews

Fun, friendly, accommodating and responsible team. We had a great afternoon and achieved things we had never thought of previously attempting (jumping off high rocks along with the teenagers). We had originally booked kayaking but switched to coasteering due to excessively windy weather, and enjoyed every minute.
