Saturday will start with a breakfast of cereals or bacon roll before heading down to Swanage Bay for a morning’s kayaking in Swanage bay. This trip will last around four hours and will be led by a highly qualified guide.
From the beach, you will head out towards Swanage Pier where it’s possible to see a range of sea life including spider crabs, mackerel and, if you’re lucky, some seals. You will then head off towards Ballards Point and the stunning sight of Old Harry's Rocks.
Once back at the campsite, you can freshen up before getting into the wild with a fun bushcraft and axe-throwing session. You’ll be instructed in a range of skills including fire-lighting, knot-tying, fire building and bread making on the fire.
Saturday evening will involve a camp fire with a hot meal cooked on site for you to enjoy.
After a leisurely breakfast, Sunday will involve a river trip along the River Frome from Wareham to Poole Harbour and back. This is a great trip with an abundance of wildlife and a lunch stop at the nature reserve Arne. You’ll arrive back at Wareham quay at 3pm, ready to head back to camp to collect your things and head home.
