If you enjoy choppy waters, a kayaking trip in Brecon Beacons is sure to get your blood pumping. Have fun paddling in a small waterfall upstream amid a flutter of white water. Your skills and ability will be tested frequently during the journey.
Get ready to be hit by powerful currents in a fast-flowing river. You’ll wobble, your bow will swing, and need will be dropped in chilling cold water. You will be expected to take decisions and react within a fraction of a second.
If you’re looking for a challenging kayaking trip, you’ll find our packages useful. Our programmes are designed to suit the needs of both beginners and those looking to improve their skills. Our British Canoeing-certified coach will teach you the basic techniques of kayaking.
Black Mountain is synonymous with a wide range of outdoor adventure activities such as paddleboarding, rock climbing, caving, canoeing, kayaking, biking, land carting, archery, abseiling and a lot more. Our instructors are passionate about adventure sports and all of them are certified. We have more than 20 years of experience in outdoor activities and operate a British Canoeing-certified centre offering courses on the River Wye.
In a half-day session, you will learn correct paddling techniques to help you with manoeuvring the kayak while playing a few games to hone the skills you have learned.
