Are you looking for a challenge that blends excitement with teamwork? Try our land carting sessions at Black Mountain. Land carting is an interesting and fun-filled outdoor team-building activity which inculcates strategic thinking and leverages other opportunities to build competitive advantage among the participants.
Land carting is a suitable team-building exercise for both kids and adults where participants compete against each other in a series of races.
The sport requires each team to build a cart and put it to test on a downhill slalom course. Each team is provided with planks, ropes, designs and directions for construction. Teams need to build a land cart which is strong enough to carry all members through the slalom course ahead. There’s no need to be anxious about building the cart—an engineering degree is not required to complete the task!
Black Mountain is synonymous with a wide range of outdoor adventure activities such as paddleboarding, rock climbing, caving, canoeing, kayaking, biking, land carting, archery, abseiling and a lot more. Our instructors are passionate about adventure sports and all of them are certified. We have more than 20 years of experience in outdoor activities and operate a British Canoeing-certified centre offering courses on the River Wye.
