Explore the scenic beauty of the Begwyns National Trust site in the Cambrian range and enjoy a leisurely cycle ride along the Brecon and Monmouthshire canals.

Imagine biking on a rugged mountain road along meandering routes. You could be in a film setting, riding amid beautiful rolling hills, passing pristine mountain lakes. The tranquillity in the air will be intermittently broken by the sudden application of brakes, the chirping of birds, and the sound of insects.

Our mountain biking activity sessions have been designed to test your physical ability, offer complete fun and enjoyment, and is fantastic for both kids and adults. If you’re looking for challenging climbs and sweeping descents on a rolling terrain, come and join us.

Our certified mountain biking instructors will teach you important techniques over a brief training session. You’ll also learn how to make basic repairs to your bike such as handling punctures, mending broken chains, changing break blocks, etc.

How to get there

From Cardiff

Brecon Beacons National Park can be reached by road, train and flight. Buses ply at regular intervals from Cardiff, London and other cities. The A4067, in particular, offers great views to travellers.

It also has good train and air connectivity. Regular bus services are available from Swansea and the Cardiff Railway Station bus terminal into the park area. Cardiff International Airport is also located close by. But if you fly into London Gatwick, London Heathrow or any regional airports, from there you can easily reach Brecon Beacon via bus or train.
