Beginners with good fitness
When to go
All year round (weekends only)
This adventure takes place near Keswick (Cumbria), a pretty market town at the heart of Lake District National Park. If you’re looking for an excellent introduction to multipitch rock climbing, then a day spent at the crags nearby is a must.
On the day you can expect your guide to meet you at 8.30am at your accommodation, where you'll discuss the day's plan. You'll then head out to the chosen location to setup. Time to get climbing!
Nothing compares to the adrenaline and focus you get when climbing. Surrounded by the wilderness, you'll feel a million miles away from the hustle and bustle of life. This activity is suitable for beginners or people with previous climbing experience. Your guide can take you up one of the Lake District's classic routes or you can benefit from a full day of coaching and instruction to improve your skills - the choice is yours. Venue and route choice will be based on a number of factors including local weather as well as client ambition, ability and past experience.
All in all this is a fantastic option because it’s very easy to organise and requires minimal kit or fitness. We recommend you first send the guide a booking request to agree a date. Then book your accommodation. Adventure sorted!
