When to go
All year round
This adventure takes place near Keswick (Cumbria), a pretty market town at the heart of Lake District National Park. If you’re looking for a fantastic day out in the mountains combined with photography tuition, then this adventure is for you.
On the day you can expect your guide to meet you at your accommodation at 9.00am. You will plan the day ahead and then set off on your adventure.
The guide is a local expert and will tailor the day to your needs. Whether you head for the high fells or the Lakeland valleys, he will show you the quieter areas and less well known photographic locations.
To develop your photography skills, advice can be given on all aspects of this craft, from use of filters to aperture settings to composition. You can look at landscape, seascape and abstract to further challenge your skills. Lenses can be experimented with and sometimes a simple phone camera is a great tool.
All in all this is a fantastic option because it will give you an excellent set of photography skills to build on. It's also very easy to organize and requires minimal kit or fitness.
We recommend you first contact the guide to agree a date, then book your accommodation. Adventure sorted!
