When to go
April to November
If you love trotting through pine forests, passing along rocky terrains with silence as your only friend, pony trekking in Wales is something you must try out. After experiencing a heather-covered landscape, which is dotted with clans of wild ponies and hares darting through the long grass, and a mesmerizing sunset, the imagery will be lurking in your mind whenever you are alone.
Pony trekking is accompanied by hill rides involving walking and trotting for a complete beginner, family groups and those of you who haven't ridden for a long time. All the rides are led by experienced, friendly guides who will assist you and point out interesting features along the way.
