Enjoy a gentle kayak along the River Frome from Wareham Quay out to Poole Harbour and back in time for lunch.

The trip departs from Wareham Quay at 10am, so please arrive by 9.45am. You’ll be paddling down to Poole Harbour along the River Frome. Paddling out with the tide will make for an easy trip without requiring you to do too much paddling. The river Frome is rich in both history and wildlife for you to enjoy. After [Xtime] exploring Poole Harbour, we’ll turn around to let the tide help us back up the river to Wareham Quay.

As we are finishing at Wareham Quay there is the option to make a full day out of the trip and head off for food and drinks at one of the many pubs and restaurants. Please bring a change of clothes in case you get wet. Your guide will supply dry bags for your valuables and anything you don't want to get wet. No food or drink is supplied on this trip, but you are welcome to bring your own refreshments which can be carried in the dry bags.

Client reviews

Just FANTASTIC!! Never been near a kayak, but booked, with a view, to starting a new hobby. Met a great (small) bunch of people and spent a beautiful day, in the sunshine, under the watchful eye of Steven. Great instructor, who talked through everything, before and during, the challenge in hand.
