When to go
All year round
This adventure takes place near Llanberis (Wales), a stunning lakeside village at the at the foot of Snowdon, surrounded by mountains, lakes and rivers. If you’re looking for an action packed British mountaineering experience, then a combo of ascending Snowdon and learning to climb sea cliffs is for you. If you're going to North Wales, why not pack it all in!
On the first day you can expect your guide to meet you at your accommodation at 9.00am. You will then drive to the foot of Snowdon, by Pen-y-Pass. From there you will set off on your ascent via the famous Pyg track, with amazing views of summits and mountain lakes.
A final ridge will lead you to the summit. The return leg will see you negotiate a gentle ridge, before arriving back at your start point.
On the second day you'll head over to the gorgeous Anglesey coast line, with its rugged coastal path and cliffs. You'll walk down to beach level and set up below a collection of well know cliffs. Here you'll spend the day learning to rock climb, with the sea waves behind you. Quite the setting.
All in all this is a fantastic option because it gives you the very best of adventure in Wales. It's easy to organize and requires minimal kit or fitness.

He's a dedicated climber and highly experienced expedition leader, with notable ascents on mountains all over the world. With a childhood spent exploring the mountains of Snowdonia, this is his playground and the place he calls home. Tom will not only take you on an amazing adventure but also inspire you to achieve your adventure dreams.
Optional extras include additional days exploring the surrounding area and ascending further mountains. Ask the guide if you wish to extend your trip to more than 2 days.

How to get there
Train to Snowdonia
Take the train from London Euston to Bangor and then change to the 85 bus towards Llanberis. The bus usually leaves from Stop H outside the railway station. The journey takes around 5 hours in total. Or better get a local taxi from Bangor for approx. £30.
Car to Snowdonia
From London take the M40, M6 and M54 to reach Snowdonia in just 4.5 hours.
