When to go
All year round
These SUP guided tours are a must do if you want to get out and give stand-up paddle boarding a go. The 2-hour SUP tour take places on either Lake Windermere or Coniston Water, depending on local weather conditions.
The Lake District stand-up paddle boarding (SUP) tour locations vary depending on weather conditions but we usually paddle on either Lake Windermere or Coniston Water. You can do this tour year, subject to weather conditions, however April to September is more reliable.
Customers should be staying or visiting near Windermere (town) to book this activity. We will send specific details about where and when to meet closer to the date. Specific locations are determined based on local weather conditions. We always aim to paddle on quieter parts of the lake and hopefully spot some wildlife along the way!
Sessions run with a maximum of 8 per group.
All participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent whilst on the water.
If you would like to book your SUP tour, then please fill out the booking form with your preferred date and we will be in touch!
Additionally, if you want a custom SUP session or tour, please include some details in the info field and we will do our best to accomodate your requests.

Joe Beaumont & Chelsea Clarkson
Joe and Chelsea are the team behind the only fully mobile SUP hire outlet in the Lake District. Which means they believe in offering the freedom to explore the Lakes when, where and for however long you like. Joe has lived in the Lakes for the past 17 years. Joe has had his fair share of fun in the area. You name it, he's probably done it. he runs, he SUPs, he bikes and all for a good cause. Chelsea having just left college in 2008, decided on taking a GAP year and headed to the UK from New Zealand. 10 years down the line and that GAP year is still going! During this time she has trained as a paddlesports instructor (with British Canoeing qualifications), worked in an outdoor activity centre and managed a watersports retail, hire and tuition centre.
